This collaboration brings together Freeman’s modern design and Filson’s century of field-proven fabric. The raincoat is sewn in Seattle from our 8-oz. oil-finish Cover Cloth. tightly woven cotton saturated with wax for lasting water resistance. A reproofing now and then keeps it shedding rain for years.
Inside. the torso and hand pockets are lined with our 18-oz. Seattle Wool. trusted for warmth for five decades. The sleeves are lined with cotton canvas that slides easily over layers. The hood’s structured brim keeps rain and snow out of your eyes. A chin-high zipper is guarded against weather by a storm flap. Snap-secured cuffs and hand-pocket flaps seal out the weather.
Freeman has been making raincoats in Seattle since 2011. starting in a Capitol Hill apartment and building a loyal following through local craft and timeless design.
